Béchamel is a simple white sauce. Often referred to in French cuisine as one of the mother sauces because it can serve as a base for making other sauces. But for those of us with Interstitial Cystitis, Bechamel is a great sauce all on it's own. It can be used in many pasta dishes (like our IC Diet Friendly Pesto Lasagna) and is perfect for making a White IC Friendly Pizza! The sauce is quick and simple to make.
